Project Log - Week 3

I have learnt a lot about the commissioner film four. I learnt that the owner of the company was Channel 4 who own many other company aswell.I have learnt that they produce, distribute and also exhibit their films. This would have an impact on my work as I would find out more information about my commissioner. This will help me relate to what type of films that they have already made. This will make my film have a big impact of the audience as it would be more realistic. From knowing this I will know how film four opening sequence and that will reflect off onto my work.

This week I have learnt a lot of information about sound. I found out that there are non-diegetic sounds like sound tracks , sound motif , voice over and many more. There are also diegetic sounds like foley , mode of address and ambient sound. Without sound in a film the film would be empty and incomplete. With sound it is more engaging and the film makes more sense to watch. This will impact my product as now I know what type of sound to use to make the scenes more dramatic and interesting for the audience. The sound would also be realstic.
