The rule of thirds was included during the running part of the scene. Rule of thirds is when the frame is divided into nine imaginary sections. This creates reference points which acts as guides for framing the image. We used this shot when we done the running scene with the agent. This is when the rule of thirds worked best.
The shot reverse shot is when you shoot the person speaking then goes on to the second person then then the shot goes back onto the first person. I used this shot when we done then the conversation in the classroom with the boss and agent. The shot reverse shot works very effectively because you could she them while they was having there conversation and showed each person while they was talking making the audience concentrate on the person speaking.
The other shot that we had to include was the match on action shot. The match on action shot consist of two shots together in which a character finishes off an action in the second shot that was started in the first one. It is a very effective shot as it showed the shot from a different angle
I worked with Delon Harrison to create this scenario. As we are good friend we found it easy to share ideas and to work together. Sharing our ideas made us both come up with the plan of our story line and the filming. Delon and I came up with the unique idea of a Boss who tells an Agent that a bomb has been planting and he has to diffuse the bomb. We then got Damanjyot Randhawa to play the Boss and Delon would play the Agent. I think that my grouping was very successful as we worked hard to complete the task and to make all of our idea fit in.
To develop the scenario we decided to make the scenario be about and agent who comes into the room with his boss and the boss tell him that the has been a bomb that has been planted. The agent then leaves the room and begins running door stairs and through doors to diffuse the bomb that has been planted. He then enters the room of the bomb and finds the boss in the room and finds out the boss planted the bomb. They then both fight and and then the agent then diffuses the bomb. I think this idea was very creative as it is a different idea and no one would use this type of scenario.
Our storyboard board was useful for the start and the middle of our shooting as we stuck with most of the shots that was used and we kept to the same story line that was on our storyboard. The end of the storyboard we changed as the story line at the end changed to what it was meant to be. As on the the storyboard it did not contain the boss planting the bomb at the end but in the filming it showed that. We also changed that shooting of someone the running scene. As we wanted to make that part more tense we decide to make the agent hold the camera while he was running. This then will make the the audience feel more engaged and making it more interesting.
